All you need to know about AIIMS

All India Institute of Medical Sciences Entrance examination is the one of the most yearning exam for aspiring medical students. It’s a group of autonomous public medical colleges for higher studies. This article will give you an insight of AIIMS, right from the eligibility to the exam syllabus.

  • 1. Candidate can be a resident of India/Overseas Citizen of India/Foreign national.

  • 2. Candidate of India should have a minimum marks requirement of 60% (general category) in his qualifying exam (10+2) and 50% for SC/ST category

  • 3. A Foreign national must have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in English, Chemistry, Physics and Biology in their intermediate exam.

Before filling an application form you need to register for the AIIMS examination 2018. Students can register for this exam through online mode only. There is no offline mode available for filling the AIIMS 2018 application form.

  • Open the AIIMS 2018 official website.

  • Click on the ‘New Registration’ Tab.

  • After reading the instructions, click on the ‘Proceed’ tab.

  • Now, fill your personal and contact information.

  • Note your ‘Candidate ID’ and press ‘OK’.

  • Pay the Application Fee.

  • Select your choice of Exam Centre.

  • Now, you’ll be asked to fill your Qualification and Address details.

  • Upload scanned images in the prescribed format.

  • After completing the entire procedure, click on the ‘Save & Proceed’ tab.

  • Please take a printout of the AIIMS 2018 Application Form for future reference and click on the ‘Final Submit’ tab.

  • The fee payment can be made through online mode only.

  • The payment can be done using debit/credit card or net banking.

Follow the following steps to download the admit card

  • Click on the official website of AIIMS 2018.

  • Click on the link to download AIIMS 2018 Admit Card.

  • Enter your Application Number and Password to login.

  • Download the pdf file of the Admit card and take a printout of the same.

  • In the case of any errors found in the admit card, you must immediately contact the exam conducting authority.
